Sometimes we just need to sit down and make a few simple crochet creations, right? I’ve always messed around making different kinds of crochet bows, but always struggled to find the perfect bow to use for crochet projects. I FINALLY found the perfect bow pattern. It holds it’s shape and it’s easy! What else could you want, right?  This super simple little bow pattern literally takes only a minute or two to whip up. They’re perfect to put on clips, headbands, hats and more! As you can see, I got a little carried away making even a few right here. These little bows look amazing in a multi-colored yarn once they’re worked up. Well, I hope you all like this little and simple pattern. Now let’s get into this adorable bow 🙂

Super Simple Crochet Bow Pattern

Materials needed:
Yarn –  Any worst weighted or (4) yarn. (Feel free to use a different weight yarn, and use the crochet hook needed for that size on the yarns label.)
Size H 5mm crochet hook.
Yarn needle to weave in ends.
Optional: Stitch counter.

Abbreviations used:
Ch-Chain
St-Stitch
Hdc-Half Double Crochet
Sl St-Slip Stitch

Pattern:

Foundation: Ch. 14, turn your work.
Row 1: Start in the 2nd Ch from hook and Hdc in the remaining 12 stitches, turn work.
Row 2-6: *Ch 2, Hdc in all 12 stitches across* then turn your work. Repeat from *  for rows 2-6, then fasten off.
Center of the bow: Ch 7, then wrap this around the center of the bow. Sl St the two ends together around the bow. Make sure to leave a long tail if you plan on sewing your bow onto another project of yours!
